Fish Nation

We work toward a future where oceans are protected, and society understands, values, and responsibly enjoys the richness of their resources.

The Fish Nation Foundation (FFN) was established in March 2024 as an initiative of CONXEMAR, with the aim of promoting values linked to the responsible management of marine resources and the promotion of seafood as a cornerstone of a healthy and sustainable diet. Based in Vigo (Spain), our work extends across the country and is committed to social well-being, environmental education, and the preservation of the marine environment.

Founding Goals

Our founding goals guide all our actions toward improving the relationship between society and the marine environment. At FFN, we work to:

Promote the sustainable management of the oceans.

Raise awareness of the nutritional and health benefits of seafood.

3.

Foster knowledge of the entire value chain of the fisheries and aquaculture sector.

4.

Develop educational and awareness programmes on the importance of protecting marine ecosystems.
